On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Ambassador Juli Endee joined women leaders, survivors, activists, and partners on the day commemorating the launch of the 16 Days of Activism, calling on all Liberians to stand against gender-based violence.
She highlighted the harsh reality many women, children, and persons with disabilities still face and emphasized the urgent need for more budget support, stronger collaboration, survivor services, and community-led action.
Her message was clear:
Even with limited resources, we can act!
We must empower our youth, support survivors, engage traditional and community leaders, and push for the full implementation of laws that protect women and girls. In her well-delivered speech on Tuesday, she narrated having a dream that SGBV prevention will have budgetary support with His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. taking the lead.
Her speech was very inspiring and innovative, with creativity at its best.
Ending SGBV is not just a moral duty; it is essential for Liberia’s peace, development, and future.
Let’s stay united. Let’s protect Mama Liberia.
